“Remember Me” at Fort Scott National Cemetery

     The 2026 theme from Wreaths Across America is “Remember Me”, as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and the individual lives behind America’s military service.  Diann Tucker, location coordinator for Fort Scott National Cemetery, wants to thank everyone for their past and continued support of the local Wreaths Across America event.  This annual event and laying of wreaths honors the personal sacrifices of those who have shaped the freedoms we enjoy today.

     Letters of support have been mailed to our many past donors, but our volunteer system does not reach everyone.  We are asking that you share the information with your friends and family and include them in the privilege of supporting and participating in this local event.  To ensure that all service members resting at Fort Scott National Cemetery are honored, remembered and receive a wreath, we are asking for your support.  Each $17. sponsorship provides a wreath that will be laid at Fort Scott National Cemetery.  We cannot do this without your donations.   This year’s ceremony and laying of wreaths will be on December 19, beginning at 10 AM.
