Somebody should file a KORA request for this splashpad golf fundraiser and make sure no city salaries are supporting this event, ya know, just to combat rising taxes and such. Steve and Ben, where you at??
As a close observer to the process, I can tell you that it is an all volunteer team that is pushing this project. Looking for locations, applying for grants, organizing fundraisers, seeking private donations, etc. Must we always assume the worst? I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
Just a bit of paradoxical fun at the expense of those wrapped up in Fort Scott’s current social media buzz. Ill-placed humor. Apologies to those involved.
