I don’t know how many people read these comments, but I think this needs to be said. First, I don’t know what a roll model is, but helping from the goodness of your heart is being a good role model. Barbara is proposing raising money from her business, which happens to be selling a legally produced and sold product to people above a certain age. If she made and sold donuts, the gesture would be the same. I am positive she is not advocating serving high school students alcohol, but sending money made at her business to help high school students. There’s a huge difference there. Legal products being sold legally to legal adults, then donated to people she’s never met but wants to help. I think that’s an excellent role model for us all to want to emulate. And you could donate to the worthy cause without drinking one drop of alcohol. Barbara and Bryan are being helpers. I applaud them.
