  1. I called to notify the city that I’m having ditch problems the water won’t go down the ditch I called I never heard anything they said that the city manager Brad would get a hold of me he never did not heard anything back from the city I have pictures to show how my whole yard was flooded I bet if this happened that his house he probably would do something about it but I haven’t heard anything back the water goes in one side but don’t come out the other the ditch is almost level on Jenkins Street I guess I’ll have a private contractor dig it out and send the bill to the city because I can’t have this flooding my property Jesse durbin820 Barbie

  2. The vital point of the sales tax here is the street program can only proceed with a continuation of the one-half cent sales tax. I agree but let the other issues/commodities sell themselves and not ride the coat tail of the street program. This is being sold as an all or nothing proposition, holding the voters hostage. Let’s explore other funding options, like expanding the municipal court to fund fire and police. No doubt we need codes enforcement to get some enforcement abilities. This was estimated that nearly $400k could stay with the City and not sent to the State.
