I’m Rick James. I served two full terms as Linn County Commissioner, from 2014 to 2022. I chose not to run for a third, because I believe in term limits at every level of government.

In my first term in the Kansas House:

• Appointed Chairman of the Veterans and Military Committee, the first time in many years a first-term legislator has led a committee
• Twice selected to preside over the full House of 125 legislators
• Serving on Insurance, Elections, Corrections and Juvenile Justice, and the Joint Committee on Kansas Security

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Early voting at the Bourbon County Courthouse starts Oct. 19.
