The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce invites members and guests to Chamber Coffee on Thursday, October 15th, at 8:00 a.m., hosted by the Fort Scott Fire Department at Fire House #1, located at 1604 S. National Avenue. Attendees are asked to park on the west side of the building, behind the fire bays. Weather permitting, the gathering may move to the new training center. Coffee and refreshments will be served, and Chamber members and the public are invited to attend.
In recognition of Fire Prevention Month, the Fort Scott Fire Department is excited to welcome the community and showcase its newly constructed training center. The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about the new facility, how it operates, and how it will help firefighters better prepare to serve and protect the Fort Scott community.
The department’s firefighters have dedicated a tremendous amount of time and hard work to constructing the new training center. This facility will provide valuable hands-on training opportunities, allowing crews to strengthen their skills and enhance their emergency response readiness.
The Fort Scott Fire Department looks forward to sharing this accomplishment with the community and providing a firsthand look at the hard work and dedication that went into making the new facility possible.
The Chamber encourages members, businesses, and community members to attend, enjoy refreshments, connect with fellow attendees, and show their support for the firefighters who work hard to keep Fort Scott safe.
