Friday, September 4th
5:00 PM — Community Tailgate Party @ the Uniontown Park
Join us at the park to prepare for the UHS Eagles first football game @ JHL. Grab some food before you go or stay and watch the game in the park with us. Concessions available by Los Tres Pollitos Mexican Food Truck & Lemonade Lagoon. Bring your own lawn chair. NO GLASS BOTTLES PLEASE.
Saturday, September 5th
9:30 AM — Kids Fishing Derby
Register at 9:00 AM @ UHS Pond. For ages 16 and under. Free to register. Prizes awarded. Sponsored by the KDWP. Text Marty Dewitt @ 620-224-7438 for more info. Class of 2027 will be selling sno cones.
7:00 PM — Co-Ed Ranch Rodeo @ the Saddle Club Arena
Co-ed requirements are 2 men and 2 women or youth per team. Rodeo begins with mutton bustin’. Contact JD Collins @ 620-224-7007 to enter.
Sunday, September 6th
Sunday activities will be in the Uniontown Square.
7:30 AM — 5K Run / Walk
Register at 7:00 AM @ UHS Football Stadium. Course will go around the school and through Uniontown. Cost is FREE for participants dressed to fit the theme; $5/person if you don’t dress to fit the theme. Sponsored by Uniontown Cross Country program. For questions, contact Sabrina @ 620-224-8068.
10:00 AM — Coffee, Milk & Donuts
10:30 AM — Community Church Service
Bring Lawn Chairs.
2:00 PM — Bingo in the Park
Sponsored by Betsie Binford & the Old Settlers Committee.
4:00 PM — Family Fun Night & Pickleball Tournament
Watermelon eating, bubble gum blowing, marshmallow eating, and frozen t-shirt contests. Pickleball Tournament sign up in the park. Bring your paddles if you have them. Contact Rhonda @ 620-215-1939 for more info.
5:00 PM — 57th Annual Old Settlers Youth Rodeo @ the Saddle Club Arena
Theme: Patriotic Cowboys & Cowgirls. Registration from 4:00–5:30 PM. Event starts with mutton bustin’. Call JD Collins @ 620-224-7007 for more info.
Monday, September 7th
All Day — Food & Craft Vendors @ the Uniontown Square
Vendor check in starts at 7:00 AM. Contact Rhonda Dewitt @ 620-215-1939.
9:30 AM — Baby Contest @ the Park Gazebo
Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Prizes for age groups 0–24 months: 1st = Silver Baby Ring.
10:30 AM — Children’s Parade
Line up starts at 10:15 AM at the fire station. Cash prizes awarded for: Best Decorated Bike, Best Decorated Battery Powered Ride, Best Pet, and Best Theme. Sponsored by Eagles Nest Daycare.
11:00 AM — National Anthem
Performed by UHS Music Department.
11:00 AM — Old Settlers Day Parade
Line up starts at 9:30 AM at the UHS parking lot. Categories: Church, School & Themed. Cash prizes for each category: 1st = $100, 2nd = $75, 3rd = $50. Contact Mike Ramsey @ 913-593-5470 for more info.
Noon — Picnic in the Park
12:30 PM — Recognition of Old Settlers
1:00 PM — Kids Races
2:00 PM — Adult Street Games
Fat Man’s Race and other games.

3:00 PM — Final Drawings, Cash Prizes, and Closing — Do not need to be present to win.
