Ann Ackerman, age 84, a resident of Ft. Scott, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at her home in Ft. Scott. There was cremation and no services are planned. Ann was a wise and caring woman. She was dedicated to her work as our CASA director. I would affectionately refer to her as a pseudo social worker. Rest in peace, Ann. You’ve earned it, with your good deeds.
