The city of Fort Scott provided ample opportunity for its residents to get in the fall and spooky spirit as a number of Halloween events were held throughout the weekend.
The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual downtown Halloween parade Saturday morning, with a number of children, families and even their pets dressing up for the event. A pumpkin recipe contest was also held as well as photo opportunities and other festivities.
