Shots Fired at 1120 E. Oak On Feb. 9

On Saturday, February 9th at approximately noon, Fort Scott Police Officers responded to 1120 East Oak for a report of shots fired.

Officers located a person of interest at the scene. This person was transported by Bourbon County EMS.

The incident is still under investigation.

 

“When an arrest is made we will provide more information,”  Captain Jason Pickert of the FSPD said.

  1. “A person of interest” is not the same as a “suspect”, however many persons of interest later become suspects as an investigation unfolds. So WHY was this person of interest hauled away by EMS? Cops get a little rough with them? Were they injured from the alleged “Shots Fired”??? Not much point in reporting nothing……
