The Street Advisory Board will meet on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the City Commission Meeting Room at 123 S. Main Street.
The Street Advisory Board meeting will not be open to the public at this time due to the limited number allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This meeting will be made available via the City’s you tube channel at City of Fort Scott.
After watching the last meeting of this board I feel an excellent panel of citizens were chosen to provide input to the Commission on an approach to cure the deplorable condition of the streets in Fort Scott. All I ask is that collectively as an Advisory Board choose your own path, make your own recommendations to the Commission and only consider fact that can be confirmed. Do not go down the “Yellow Brick Road” imposed by the “Lollipop Guild” (City Staff). Make your own road, forge your own plan; I am sure the Citizens will appreciate your hard work.
